Second IPWG Meeting

This is the photographic album of the second International Phytoplasmologist Working Group meeting held on 12-15 September 2011 in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany.

Dear IPWG members,

    Thank you very much for inviting us to attend the 2nd Meeting of the International Phytoplasmologist Working Group (IPWG). Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the meeting because our schedule is full. Since the most powerful earthquake hit Japan on March 11, we have received many E-mails from phytoplasma researchers to express condolences and support to Japan. We really appreciate your concern. Fortunately, Tokyo was not so damaged, and all of the members of our laboratory are OK, though insufficient supply of electricity due to the decrease in number of usable nuclear power plants caused some Japanese researchers to work abroad. I apologize again for our absence and we look forward to seeing you at the next opportunity.
